if the roots of the quadratic equation (k^2) x^2 - 6kx + 3 =0 are real then, find k

Discriminant = b²-4ac

=> (6k)² - 12k²

For equal roots, discriminant = 0

=> 36k² - 12k² = 0

=> 24k² = 0

=> k= 1/√24

=> k = √24/24
