Answer:

the area of the circle is 119.645 cm ∧2

Step-by-step explanation:

theta of the respective sector = 60 degree

area of the sector = 20 cm∧2

theta / 360 × π r∧2 = 20

60 / 360 × 22/ 7 × r ∧2 = 20

1 /6 × 22/ 7×r∧2 = 20

r∧2 = 20 × 6 ×7 / 22

r    =√ 420 / 11

r = 6.17 cm

the area of the circle ,

                  = π r∧2

                  = 22/7 × 6.17 ×6.17

                  = 837.5158/ 7

                  = 119.645 cm∧2

thus the area of the circle is 119. 645 cm∧2
