Hi,
Here's ur answer :-
Let Cost price of 1 water bottle = Rs.100
Cost price of 17 water bottle = Rs.1700
So, SP of 16 water bottle = 1700
SP of 1 water bottle = Rs.1700/16 = Rs.106.25
We know CP of 1 water bottle = Rs.100
So, As SP > CP, it is a profit.
Profit = SP -CP = 106.25-100 = Rs.6.25
Profit % = 6.25/100 x 100% = 6.25% = 6 whole 1/4 %
HOPE IT HELPS (^_^)
