S = { 2 }

S = { 5,7,11,13,17,........ }

S = { 0,1,2,3,4,..........,99 }

ii S = { even primes }

  • A set can be expressed in the form of words or in the form of elements of that set.

i S = { primes }

Since, there are infinte prime numbers.

So, the set will be infinite.

ii S = { even primes }

Since, there is only one even prime number.

So, the set will be finite.

S = { 2 }

iii S = { even primes greater than 5 }

Since, there are infinte prime numbers greater than 5.

So, the set will be infinite.

S = { 5,7,11,13,17,........ }

iv S = { whole numbers less than 100 }

Since, there are 99 whole numbers less than 100.

So, the set will be finite.
