If the side of a rhombus is 10 cm and one diagonal is 16 cm, then find the area of the rhombus.​

By pythagorean theorem, the third side of the triangle(which is the half of the other diagonal) is found to be 6.

The full length of the other diagonal is 12cm(6+6).

(1st diagonal × 2nd diagonal)÷2

Area = (16×12)÷2

= 96 square cm
