Area of a Triangle = 1 / 2 * Base * Height

For an Equilateral Triangle the formula for height is as follows :

Height = a√3 / 2

Here ' a ' represents the measure of each side.

=> Height = 42 √ 3 / 2

=> Height = 21√3 cm

Base = 42 cm ( As all the sides are equal in an equilateral triangle )

So Area = 1 / 2 * 42 * 21√3

=> Area = 21 * 21√3

=> Area = 441√3 cm²
