Answer:

★\sf \colorbox{god} {AB = (a - 1)  \: cm}

★\sf \colorbox{god} {BC = 2} \sqrt{a}  \: \sf \colorbox{god} {cm}

★\sf \colorbox{god} {CA = (a + 1 )\: cm}

Hence,

⇒ {AB}^{2}  = (a - 1 {)}^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  + 1 - 2a

⇒ {BC}^{2}  = (2 \sqrt{a}  {)}^{2}  = 4a

⇒ {AC}^{2}  = (a + b {)}^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  + 1 + 2a

⇒ {AB}^{2}  +  {BC}^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  + 1 - 2a + 4a

⇒ {AB}^{2}  +  {BC}^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  + 1 + 2a

∴ {AC}^{2}  =  {AB}^{2}  +  {BC}^{2}

So,

\sf \colorbox{god} {∆ABV is a Right angled triangle}

  • Right Option is (d) Right angled
