if the simple interest of rs.500 for 2 years at a certain rate is rs.100.what is the simple interest for the same amount for 5 years?​

Principal=500

Rate=?( let it be R)

Time=2 years

Simple Interest=100

Now S.I.= P*R*T/100

100=500*R*2/100

R=10%

Now ;

Pricipal =500

T=5 years

R=10%

S.I. = P*R*T/ 100

S.I.= 500*10*5/100

S.I.= 250 RUPEES

AMOUNT=P+SI

=500+250

=750 RUPEES

ANSWER:- THEREFORE THE SI IS RUPEES 250 AND AMOUNT IS 750 RUPEES
