Simple Interest=

Simple Interest for 3years=

Simple Interest for 4years=

100

P×4×5

Given:Simple Interest for 4years−Simple Interest for 3=Rs.42

P×4×5

P×3×5

=42

=42

⇒5P=4200 or P=

5

4200

=Rs.840

∴sum=Rs.840
