Solution

Let the SP of each ball be ₹1. Then,

SP of 25 balls = ₹25

CP of 15 balls = ₹15

It is given

SP of 25 balls = CP of 15 balls

Hence ,

SP of 15 balls = ₹15

CP of 25 balls = ₹25

CP > SP = Loss

Loss = CP - SP

= ₹(25 - 15)

= ₹10

Loss % = Loss/CP × 100

= 10/25 × 100

= 40 %
