answer : refractive index of medium-1 with respect to medium - 2 is 4/5

given, speed of light in medium - 1 , v₁ = 2.5 × 10^8 m)/s

so, refractive index of medium - 1, μ₁ = 3 × 10^8/2.5 × 10^8 = 1.2

speed of light in medium - 2 , v₂ = 2 × 10^8 m/s

so, refractive index of medium-2, μ₂ = 3 × 10^8/2 × 10^8 = 1.5

refractive index of medium - 1 with respect to medium - 2, ¹μ₂ = μ₁/μ₂

= 1.2/1.5 = 4/5
