S7=49=7/2 ( 2a+6d)

2a+6d=49*2/7=14

2a+6d=14....................(1)

S17=239=17/2( 2a+16d)

2a+16d=289*2/17=17*2=34

2a+16d=34..................(2)

subtract (1) from(2)

10d=20,d=2

from(1)2a+12=14

2a=2,a=1

Sn=n/2( 2*1+(2(n-1) }

=n/2 ( 2+2n-2)

=n/2 ( 2n

=n²
