The sum of n terms of an AP is given 3n^2 + n

If we take n = 1 it means we will get sum of first term of AP that will give us the first term of AP.

So,

Taking, n = 1

3n^2 + n

3(1) ^2 + (1)

3 + 1

= 4

So, the first term of AP will be '4'.
