Step-by-step explanation:

Given sum of first q terms, Sq = 2q + 3q2

When q = 1, we will  get S1 = 2 x 1 + 3(1)2 = 2 + 3 = 5

Therefore, Sum of first terms = First term = 5

When q = 2, we will get S2 = 2(2) + 3(2)2 = 4 + 12 = 16

Now,

Second term = Sum of two terms - Sum of first term

 = S2 – S1 = 16 – 5 = 11

Common difference, (d) = Second term - First term

= 11 – 5 = 6

Therefore, Common difference (d) = 6

Hope it Helps..!!
