x² - kx = k(2x-1)

=> x² - kx - k(2x - 1)

=> x² - kx - 2kx + k = 0

=> x² - 3kx + k = 0

Now we know that, sum of zeroes in a polynomial is equal to -b/a, where b and a are coefficients of x² and x respectively.

So, - (-3k)/1 = 0

=> 3k/1 = 0

=> k = 0
