Let the integers be x, x+1, x+2

x+x+1+x+2 = 21

3x + 3 = 21

3x = 21-3

3x = 18

x = 18/3

x = 6

x+1 = 7

x+2 = 8

Sum of two smaller integers = x + x + 1 = 6+7 = 13
