Let the roots of the equation be α and β

according to the question

2(Product of roots)= Sum of roots

2αβ=α+β  --------(1)

αβ= -3k/k -------- (2)

α+β=-2/k ----------(3)

so from 1, 2 and 3

we get k= 1/3
