If the sum of the zeroes of the quadratic polynomial 3x2
-kx+6 is 4, then find the
value of k.

Answer:

 \alpha  +  \beta  = 4 \\  \alpha  +  \beta  =   - ( - k) \div 6 \\ so \\ 4 = k \div 6 \\k = 6 \times 4 \\ k = 24
