quadratic polynomial

kx^2 + 2x +3k

let alpha and beta be zeroes of this polynomial

let us assume alpha is P and beta is Q

P + Q= -2/k

P *Q = 3k/k

it is given sum of zeroes is equal to product, so equate RHS

-2/k = 3k/k

-2/k = 3

-2 = 3k

k = -2/3
