Let the nos. be a and b.
a+b=36
a+(a+6)=36
2a+6=36
2a=30
a=15

Therefore a=15 and b=21

Let the first no. be 'x'
the other no. be (x+6)
A/q,
x + (x + 6) = 36
x + x + 6 = 36
2x = 36 - 6
x = 30/2
x = 15
∴ The first no. is x = 15
the other no. is (x+6) = 15+6 = 21
