Let the side of table cloth is AC.

We need to calculate the length of the sides of the table cloth

Using pythagoras theorem

(AC)^2=(AB)^2+(BC)^2

{AC}=\sqrt{(AB)^2+(BC)^2}

Where, AC = diagonal length

AB = BC = given length

Put the value into the formula

AC=\sqrt{(1.5)^2+(1.5)^2}

AC=2.12\ m

Hence, The length of the sides of the tablecloth is 2.12 m.
