In 0.1 sec 1 ripple is made
In 1 sec (1 / 0.1 ) = 10 ripple is made
frequency is the number of ripples made in 1 sec .
therefore
frequency = 10
given:-
wavelength = 6 cm = 6/100 m
now we know
speed
= frequency x wavelength
= (10 x 6/100) m/sec
= 0.6 m/sec
In 1 sec (1 / 0.1 ) = 10 ripple is made
frequency is the number of ripples made in 1 sec .
therefore
frequency = 10
given:-
wavelength = 6 cm = 6/100 m
now we know
speed
= frequency x wavelength
= (10 x 6/100) m/sec
= 0.6 m/sec
