Let the principal = Rs.x of R %

Then S.I = 30% of Rs x =30 / 100 × x

Let the time in which the principal is equal to simple interest be t years

Then

Rate = (100×3x /10 × x ×6) %

= 5 %

Now,

Sum = Rs.x

SI = Rs x

Rate = 5%

Thus time = ( 10 × r / x × 5 )years

= 20 years
