Let the two numbers be x and y
Ratio of two numbers = 2 : 3
Product of their H.C.F. and L.C.M. = H.C.F. X L.C.M = \( x \times y \)
=>150=\( \large\frac{2}{3}y \times y \)
=> 150 = \( \large\frac{2}{3}y^{2}\)
=> 225 =\( y^{2}\)
=> \( y^{2} = 225 \)
=> y = 15
x=\( \large\frac{2}{3}(15) = 10 \)
Sum of the two numbers = 10 + 15 = 25
