If fundamental units of mass, length and time are each doubled, what happens to unit of energy

We know,

Energy

[E]=[ML2T−2]

[E′]=[2M4L2T−2/4]

=2[E]

Hence, Energy will be DOUBLED is the correct answer.

In science, dimensional analysis is the analysis of the combinations between several physical quantities by identifying their base quantities such as length, mass, time, and electric charge.

We know,

Energy

[E]=[ML^2T^−2]

Now If fundamental units of mass, length and time are each doubled, we get

[E′]=[2M4L^2(T^-2)/4]

=2[E]

Hence, the energy is doubled.
