if the value of x2 + Y2 square= 67 and xy = 9 then find the value of x- y​

(x - y)^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  - 2xy \\  = 67 - 2 \times 9 \\  = 67 - 18  \\  = (x - y)^{2} = 49 \\  x - y =   \pm\sqrt{49}  \\ x - y =  \pm \: 7
