If the Vertical angle of an isosceles triangle is 100 degrees find the measure of its base angles.

Let triangle be ABC, Such that AB=AC

 so, ∠B = ∠C [∠s opp to eq. sides are equal]

and , 
∠A = 100° 
     so, ∠A + ∠B +∠C = 180°
                     so, 2∠B = 80°
                           ∠B = 40°

So base angle is 40°

if it is isocles triangle then base if triangle will be

( 180 - 100 ° )

= 80 °

=> 80 / 2

=> 40°
