if the weight of 8 sheets of thick paper is 40 grams how many sheets of the same paper would weight 3/2

Hi,

Here it's given that
Weight of 8 sheet = 40
So weight of 1 sheet = 40 / 8 = 5

We have to find the number of paper of 3/2 of the weight of 8 sheets.

Therefore,
3/2 of 40 = 3/2 * 40 = 60 g

So,

1 sheet weights = 5 g
So, x sheet weighs = 60 kg

Therefore 5x = 60
x = 60/5
x = 12

Therefore the number of sheets of thick paper required Is 12
