If the weight of elephant is reduced because of starvation the progeny of the elephants will not have low weight.Give reasons. ????

Weight of the body is not a genetic trait. The trait is not found in the genes. As you live, you 'aquire' that trait. It is possible that the parent is very slim but the child becomes obese because he didn't work and ate more...
It is the same way in this elephant as well!
