Answer:

let the width of the rectangle be x

lenght=x+2

perimeter of a rectangle =2(l+b)

32 m= 2(x+x+2)

16= 2x+2

=>x= 14/2=7 m

so, l=9 m

and, b= 7 cm

NOW, AREA OF A RECTANGLE IS LENGTH * WIDTH

AREA= 9* 7

=63 m^2

Answer:

63m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length be x

According to question,b=x-2

perimeter =2 (l+b)

=>2(x+x-2)=32

=>4x-4=32

=>4x=36

=>x=36/4

=>x=9m

b=9-2=7m

AREA=l×b

=9×7m^2

=63m^2
