If the width of a rectangle is 2cm more than three times its length and the perimeter is 60cm, what are the dimensions?

Given

b=3l+2

perimeter=60cm

2(l+b)=60

l+b=30

3l+2+l=30

4l=30-2

l=28/7

l=4cm

b=3×4+2

=12+2

=14cm

deminsion is 4cm×14cm
