Let p (x) = 2x^2 -5x-3
2x^2 -3x-2x -3
x (2x-3) -(2x+3)
(x-1)(2x-3)

Thus, zeroes of this polynomial p (x) are 1 and 3/2

Now, the zeros of polynomial x²+px+q
are double of zeroes of p (x) so thet are 2(1) = 2
And
2 (3/2) = 3.
