HEYA!!!!!

YOUR ANSWER: No. of students in one third class=26

3 third classes means= 26×3 =78

Now, 4 students are absent, means= 78-4 = 74

That means total 74 students will attend the assembly.

Concept

Multiplication is one of the arithmetic operations out of four. Subtraction is also one out of the four basic arithmetic operations. Other two operations are Addition & Division.

For Example

Numbers are 3 and 2

Multiplication = 3*2 = 6

Subtraction = 3-2 = 1

Given

1) 26 students in each third class

2) Total 3 Third classes in School

3) Total of 4 students are absent

Find

How many students will attend the assembly

Solution

As their are 26 students students in each class and total of 3 third class

So,  total number of students will be

= 26 * 3

= 78

Total of 4 students are absent on that day

Absent Students = 4

Students attending assembly = Total Students - Students Absent

= 78 - 4

= 74

Total of 74 students will attend the assembly.
