in a class of 52 students ,the no. of boys is 6/7 of yhe no. of girls . how many are boys ???

Let the number of girls be xNumber of boys=6/7 of girls=6/7xTotal students=52x+6/7x=52[7x+6x]/7=5213x/7=5213x=52*7x=364/13=28The number of girls are 28 and the number of boys are 6/7*28=24Therefore the number of boys are 24.
