yes there are the some bacterias who can decompose the polythene bags but we should Ban the poly bags because it takes long time to decompose more than hundred to 200 year and some kind of plastic or poly bag event don't decompose aur cannot be degraded by microorganism present in the soil which makes biomagnification in multicellular organism organisms
