The world would turn black in an instant.
Humans are 70% water, we die pretty quick.
All animals and plants die.
Then the earth dies. Many reactions that sustain life (conversion of glucose) need water to live.
All the oceans instantly dry up. everything in the oceans dies. There is no more South/North pole.
All moisture is removed from the ground. The crust of the earth shrivels a little, causing earthquakes. The ground turns black soon enough, as do any plants or trees (they're dead but still standing).
Most materials crumble immediately, they have water in them somehow (concrete uses it as a strengthener).
The world dies… very, very fast.
