ozone layer protects us from the harmful UV(ultraviolet) rays from the sun.If there is no ozone layer (ozone gas in the atmosphere)then the UV rays will fall on the earth's surface.these rays are very harmful as they can cause skin cancer and other skin related problems to humans and varoius diseases to plants and othe animals.
