I will give it some thought to work out the right way to deal with it and try to resolve the issue. I would talk to the people involved individually and collectively too, if more than one person was involved, to make them understand the significance of communal harmony.
I would discuss all relevant points to make them understand their folly. We are a free country and a democratic one too. Why do we cause such disruptions then? When it comes down to it we are all human being with the same red blood in our veins. How are we all any different from each other than our habits and traits. I will drive home the point on all these and make them understand and change their mind. I hope to succeed in my endeavor too.
It is easier to do deal with this if it is a building as it has lot of common places where people are entitled to come and go as they please. Nobody has the right to stop others from entering or using common places meant for everybody.
When it comes to temple it would not be that easy. Again, temples are also common places and should be used by anybody for praying. But if someone puts a restriction on people from other faith entering, it will be a difficult task to convince that person to see the light. People with fixed notion on their faith are very difficult to sway. It will take extra effort and time to convince that person. That discrimination of any kind, especially in temple, is an act disrespectful to the temple itself and the God therein. That, when God may not have any issues as to who visits him, who are we to stop anyone from entering a temple or for that matter praying?!
Here the reactions depend on some circumstances.Maybe due to some religion based issue, the restrictions are prevailing. But obviously if there is restrictions on the basis of caste or region or liguistic base or any such base, then it is very vital to raise voice.
