hello there !!
i will be using A instead of theta

we have ,
sinA = cosA

=> sinA/cosA=cosA/cosA [divide both sides by cosA]

=> tanA=1 [since sinA/cosA=TanA]
=> tan45°=1
therefore A=45°
putting it in 2tan²A+sin²A-1
We get,
=> 2tan²45°+sin²45°-1
=> 2(1)²+ (1/√2)²-1
=>2+1/2-1=> (4+1-2)/2 => 3/2

hope this helped you ;)
