If theta is an acute angle and tan theta =8/15 , find the value of sec theta and cosec theta

Answer:

tan theta = opposite side of theta / adjacent side of theta

= 8/15

by \: pythagoras \: theorem \\  \\  hyp  { }^{2}  = opp {}^{2}  + adj {}^{2}  \\  \\ hyp  {}^{2} \:  =  8 {}^{2}  + 15 {}^{2}  \\  \\ hyp = squrt \: of \: 225 + 64 \\  \\ hyp \:  = 17 \\  \\

sec theta = hyp/adj = 17/ 15

cosec theta = hyp/ opp = 17 / 8
