Thus,R1=6.9Ω and R2=21Ω

To find:
Equivalent resistance and Current.
As the resistors are connected in series.
So, Rs=R1+R2=21+6.9=27.9Ω
Current,I:?
From ohm's law,
V=IRs
=>I=V/Rs=12/27.9=0.43A
The current flowing through the circuit is 0.43 amperes
