If threshold wavelength 2 °) for ejection of electron
from metal is 330 nm, then work function for the
photoelectric emission is
(1) 6 × 10-10 j
(2) 1.2 × 10-18 J
(3) 3 * 10-19 J

answer 4

work function= h × threshold frequency

wotk function = h×c÷ threshold wavelength

work function=2×10^-25÷330×10^-9

=0.0060×10^-25×10^9

=0.0060×10^-16

ans =6.0×10^-19
