GIVEN:
Sin (A – B) = 1/2
cos(A+B)= ½
Sin (A – B) = ½
Sin (A – B) = sin 30°
(A – B) = 30°…………..(1)
[ sin 30° = ½]
And , cos(A+B)= 1/2
cos(A+B)= cos 60°
(A+B)= 60°…………..(2)
[cos 60° = ½]
On adding eq 1 & 2
A – B= 30°
A+ B= 60°
---------------------
2A = 90°
A = 90/2 =45°
A = 45°
On putting the value of A = 45° in eq 1
A – B= 30°
45° - B = 30°
45° - 30° = B
15° = B
Hence, the values of A is 45° & B is 15°.
