Answer:

36/49

Step-by-step explanation:

as triangle ABC is similar to triangle DEF,

SO

(AB)²/(DE)² = AREA of ABC/ area of DEF

144/196 = area of ABC/ area of DEF

36/49 = area of ABC/area of DEF

hope it helps pls mark it the branliest

Answer:

AB=12cm

DE=14cm

AREA of triangle =1/2×base×height

In ∆ABC

Area of ∆ABC= 1/2×base×height---------eq1

= 1/2×12×height

height = 2×12

= 24cm

put the value of height in eq 1

=1/2×12×24

= 144cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

In ∆DEF

DE=14cm

Area= 1/2×base×height-----------eq2

= 1/2×14×height

height=2×14

=28cm

Area=1/2×base×height

= 1/2×14×28

=14×14

=196cm²

ratio between them

144/196=6:7
