Heya Dear !
______________________________________________________________
In a rectangle Adjacent sides means length and breadth :
Let length = 4x + 7y
Breadth    = 3y - x
______________________________________________________________
and we know  perimeter = 2(l+b) = 2 ( 4x+7y +3y -x) = 2(10y +3x) = 20y +6x
