If two angles are supplementary angle ,one angle is 40degree less than other angles twice then find angles

Either one of two angles which add up to 180°.

Let Two Supplementary angle be x & y.

By 1st Condition,

x+y=180.

By 2nd Condition,

x-40=2y.

Therefore x-2y=-40.
