Let m1,m2,u1,u2be masses and velocities
m1=m2=m
Then ATQ
Using COP
mu1+ mu2= mv1+mv2(1)
And using COE
Kinetic enenrgy = E
We get
mu1 sq + mu2 sq = mv1 sq + mv2 sq(2)
Solving one and 2 we get v1= u2and v2=u1
