Given :

  • Mass of First Object = 30 kg
  • Mass of Second Object = 20 kg
  • Distance between them = 10 m

 \\ \\

To Find :

  • Force of Gravitation

 \\ \qquad{\rule{200pt}{2pt}}

SolutioN :

 \maltese Formula Used :

 \qquad \; {\red{\bigstar \; \; {\purple{\underbrace{\underline{\orange{\sf{ F = G \bigg\lgroup \dfrac{ M_1 \times M_2 }{ {r}^{2} } \bigg\rgroup }}}}}}}}

 \\

Where :

  • F = Force of Gravitation
  • G = Universal Gravitational Constant
  •  \sf{ M_1 } = Mass of 1st Object
  •  \sf{ M_2 } = Mass of 2nd Object
  • r = Distance between them

 \\ \\

 \maltese Calculating the Force of Gravitation :

 \begin{gathered} \; \; \dashrightarrow \; \; \sf { F = G \bigg\lgroup \dfrac{ M_1 \times M_2 }{ {r}^{2} } \bigg\rgroup } \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered} \; \; \dashrightarrow \; \; \sf { F = G \bigg\lgroup \dfrac{ 30 \times 20 }{ {10}^{2} } \bigg\rgroup } \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered} \; \; \dashrightarrow \; \; \sf { F = \dfrac{ \bigg( 6.67 \times {10}^{ - 11} \bigg) \times 30 \times 20 }{ 100 } } \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered} \; \; \dashrightarrow \; \; \sf { F = \dfrac{ \bigg( 6.67 \times {10}^{ - 11} \bigg) \times 600 }{ 100 } } \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered} \; \; \dashrightarrow \; \; \sf { F = \dfrac{ \bigg( 6.67 \times {10}^{ - 11} \bigg) \times \cancel{600} }{ \cancel{100} } } \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered} \; \; \dashrightarrow \; \; \sf { F = \bigg( 6.67 \times {10}^{ - 11} \bigg) \times 6 } \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered} \; \; \dashrightarrow \; \; {\underline{\boxed{\pmb{\sf { Force{\small_{(Gravitation)}} = 40.02 \times {10}^{ - 11} \; N }}}}} \; {\red{\pmb{\bigstar}}} \\ \\ \\ \end{gathered}

 \\ \\

 \therefore \; Force of Gravitation between these two Objects is 40.02 × 10-¹¹ N .

QUESTION:-

If two bodies of masses 30 kg and 20 kg are separatedby a distance of 10 metres, then find the approximategravitational force of attraction between the masses.

ANSWER:-

  • Mass of first object = 30 kg
  • Mass of second object = 20 kg
  • Distance between them = 10 metres

calculating the Force of gravity :-

F = G ( 30*20/10²)

F = (6.67*10-¹¹)*30*20 / 100

F = (6.67*10-¹¹)*600 / 100

F = (6.67*10-¹¹) (600 and 100 are cancelled)

F = (6.67*10-¹¹)*6

Force of gravitation = 40.02 * 10-¹¹ N.
