According to the Question ,

The two angles differ by 20,

Let smaller angle of them is x

Other angle will be x + 20

Now, given that they are complementary which means the sum of them is equals to 90° .

=> x + x + 20 = 90

=> 2x + 20 = 90

=> 2(x + 10 )= 90

=> x + 10 = 45

=> x = 35°
