When q and r are parllel then resultant force will be zero

If two forces are parallel in the same direction then the resultant is p+q and the direction of resultant is same as the force's. If the forces are opposite to each other and parallel then the resultant is p-q and the direction of resultant is in the direction of highest magnitude force.
